Glögg mix – 2 bottles*
Almond and Raisin mix*
¾ cup rice
2 ½ cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup Pear Cider*
3-4 oz. Vanilla Sauce*
Gingersnap cookies (for garnish)*
For Glögg: Pour Glögg mix into deep pot, warm over medium heat until heated through.
For Rice Pudding: Cover the almonds and raisins with the pear cider and leave to soak. In heavy bottomed saucepan, combine milk, rice and heavy cream and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to low heat and simmer, covered, until the rice is tender, stirring frequently; add the almonds and raisins. Let the rice cool down and gently mix with Vanilla Sauce. Serve with Lingonberry Preserves.
