ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the continental United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of IKEA, PowerPact, LLC, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers and advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the households of such persons, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Void outside the continental United States and where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes will take place at the participating IKEA locations during regular business hours between February 4, 2006 and February 28, 2006 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). To enter, complete and submit an official entry form, while supplies last, and deposit in the designated entry box. Entrants must complete all required information on the entry form to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person/household per participating location. Multiple entries from any one person or household at any participating location will be void. All entries must be received by end of business on February 28, 2006. Entries that have been mechanically reproduced are void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Offer valid only at US stores except IKEA Seattle, Houston, San Diego and IKEA Direct.

WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: A random drawing will be conducted on or about March 3, 2006 from among all eligible entries received during the sweepstakes. Drawing will be held under the supervision of PowerPact, LLC, whose decisions are final and binding on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified by phone and/or mail and shall be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability, and IRS Form W-9 and, unless prohibited by law, a publicity release within fourteen (14) days of date of issuance. Noncompliance with these rules, failure to return the required documents within the specified time period, or the return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s discretion, selection of an alternate winner.
 
ONE GRAND PRIZE: Winner will receive a $10,000 IKEA Gift Card (to be awarded as twenty (20) $500 value each IKEA Gift Cards), which may be used toward a complete kitchen makeover with items purchased at a participating IKEA store (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $10,000). Gift card is subject to the following terms and conditions: Value on gift cards can't be redeemed for cash or used to pay credit card balances. Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced. No exceptions, except where state laws may apply. All costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of the prize not stated herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, federal, state and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions or cash equivalents allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which are final and binding. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use winner's name, city and state of residence and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, PowerPact, LLC and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of the prize, or any travel/activity associated herewith. Released Parties shall not be responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, delayed or damaged entries or mail, or for lost or stolen entry boxes, nor for mechanical, technical, printing, typographical, human, or other errors relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any sweepstakes-related materials. If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and void his/her entry) who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes or any element thereof. Should the sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted and Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination.
