Disguise Eyesores in Your Kitchen
Every kitchen has its flaws: a small hole in the floor tile, a scratch on the oven, an unsightly trash can. Consider these cover-up ideas:
Homemade costumes. Covering up flaws doesn't have to cost a lot. For small imperfections in your kitchen floor, position a moveable storage cart over them. Countertop stains? Cover them with storage canisters, dish racks or a delicious-looking bowl of fruit.
Creative flair. Sometimes you just want to make what you have look better. If the fabric on your chairs no longer suits your taste, you can have them reupholstered for little cost or do it yourself. If your range and oven are so old they're an eyesore, invest in decorative burner covers to draw attention away from the main appliance — or create an "antique" theme with potholders, rugs and other accessories.
Jazzy outfits from the store. If self-designed solutions don't do the job, find great solutions for enhancing the look of your kitchen (Think hiding the trash can under the cabinet.).
