A Treat for All Seasons: A Classic Swedish Appetizer

appetizer

Looking for a new and different appetizer to serve your guests this holiday season — or any time of year? Our recipe for Cucumber/Gravad Lax Roll is quick, easy and delicious. Gravad lax is salmon, which gives the dish a warm red color. Unlike smoked salmon, it's pickled in salt, sugar and dill, so it will probably be a new taste to your guests. In Sweden, mustard sauce is considered an essential complement to gravad lax, and dill is used in many dishes.
