Between January 21, 2005, and January 27, 2005 enter the IKEA Paramus “Profess your Love at IKEA” Contest by telling us why
you and your partner want to be one of five (5) couples to get married at IKEA Paramus during the IKEA Paramus “Profess your
Love” Event at 100 IKEA Drive, Paramus, NJ, 07652. Entrants must visit
http://info.ikea-usa.com/Paramus and complete the entry form in its entirety. The selected five (5) couples must obtain a valid New Jersey
marriage license and will be married at the IKEA Paramus store by Paramus Mayor Tedesco at 9:30 am on February 11, 2005.
Each of the winning couples will receive a $1,000 IKEA Gift Card.
All entrants must be 18 years or older. Participants must be willing to participate in a number of activities including speaking with
the media. The Event shall occur rain or shine.
Entrants will be chosen at IKEA’s sole and absolute discretion. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
Prize: The five (5) couples selected to participate in the IKEA Paramus “Profess your Love” Event on February 11,
2005, will be legally married by Paramus Mayor Tedesco and will each receive a $1,000 IKEA Gift Card. The prizes will be awarded,
are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
The winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on the prize and for delivery and assembly of the IKEA merchandise,
where required. One prize per participant.
Selection of Entrants: Five (5) couples submitting eligible entries through
http://info.ikea-usa.com/Paramus from January 21, 2005 through January 27, 2005 will be randomly selected by IKEA Management to participate in
the Event and will receive a prize. The IKEA Paramus store management shall make the selection of such participants in their sole discretion.
The odds of participating will depend on the number of entrants. All decisions by IKEA are final. IKEA will require the participants to review
and sign Event rules, an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and W-9 form, prior to the start of the Event. If such documents are not
returned within the time period requested, or if an entrant is found ineligible or if they do not comply with the Official Rules, then the
potential entrant will be disqualified and an alternate entrant may be selected.
Eligibility: Entrants must be legal residents of the U.S. age 18 or older. Couples must obtain a valid marriage license from
the State of New Jersey prior to the event and must bring the license to the event. If IKEA determines at their sole discretion that any of the
participants are ineligible, and if any couples do not have a valid New Jersey marriage license, they may be disqualified from the Event. In
addition, each of the participants may be asked to show a valid photo-ID proving legal residence and age. Failure to show adequate proof
may result in disqualification. Employees of IKEA and its affiliates and each of its advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate
families and any persons with whom they reside are not eligible.
Release, Limitations on Liability: Before entering the Event, each of the participants must sign a waiver and release form
consenting to the use of his/her name, voice, photograph (stills, motion picture, or video tape) in print, broadcast, internet and other media
for advertising, promotional and/or marketing purposes without additional compensation and further agree in writing to hold harmless IKEA
and/or its affiliates, agents or assigns, and their officers, employees, independent contractors, agents, affiliates, successors and assigns,
against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly out of the Event or the prizes awarded.
IKEA reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Event if it is not capable of running it as planned, including for any causes
beyond the control of IKEA which affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Event. This Event is void where
prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
IKEA is not responsible for damaged or lost vehicles or personal belongings on or in IKEA property during the Event.
